Detailed description of Moccasin Run Golf Course
Moccasin Run Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Atglen, Pennsylvania.
This par-72 course first opened for play in 1988.
The course has 4 sets of tees. The Blue play to 6,509 yards, The Whites are set at 6,217 yards, The Gold at 5,466 yards and The Red play to 4,947 yards.
A stream going through the property comes into play on holes 5, 8,11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18. This creek which flows thru Moccasin Run is a tributary (not officially named) to Wolfe’s Run Creek which flows into Octorara creek.

This was my first time playing this course. It was worth the hour ride to get there! I didn't play to my handicap but I knew why, I was to busy looking at the great views. I had fun and enjoyed the round. We teed off at 8 am and was done by 12 noon and no one broke 90, hell I didn't even break 100. Which I usually do. We will be back many times this season.

Tightly laid out course. Very green. Quiet area. Good mix of hole distances.

One house on the course and they were hosting a large crowd celebrating a birthday! Otherwise, a great course with a challenging layout that begs to be played again.
